Hello, and thank you for visiting my world of watercolor and handmade art.
I started painting after I left a long-time career in sales. We received a catalog from the Indianapolis Art center one day,
and at my husband’s encouragement, I enrolled in a beginner watercolor class. Since then, I’ve taken many classes from experienced artist and discovered my new love. I get a lot of inspiration from the beauty that surrounds me and from places I’ve traveled to over the years. When you enter the world of painting you find that you view things in an entirely differently way.
Watercolor is my main medium, but from time to time I use ink and acrylic. I love to paint landscapes. I also enjoy painting flowers, buildings, water scenes, and colorful whimsical characters. Several of my greeting cards are made from my original paintings. I also like to use a combination of die cuts, a variety of papers and embellishments.
