Hello, and thank you for visiting my world of watercolor and handmade greeting cards.

I started painting after I left a long-time career in sales. We received a catalog from the Indianapolis Art Center one day, and at my husband’s encouragement I enrolled in a beginner watercolor class. Since then, I’ve taken many classes from experienced artists and have discovered my new love. I’ve always appreciated color, crafting and creating so I became very excited about this new world that had opened to me. I get a lot of inspiration from the beauty that surrounds me and from places I’ve traveled to over the years. When you enter the world of painting you find that you view things in an entirely different way.

Watercolor is my main medium, but from time to time I use ink and acrylic. I love landscapes, but I paint a lot flowers, buildings and bright colored whimsical scenes. Places that take you someplace that makes you happy, or brings back good memories, or peace.

Several of my greeting cards are made from my original paintings. I also use a combination of die cuts, different papers and embellishments. I hope you enjoy exploring my happy place.
